The service life of industrial pumps depends half on the quality of the product itself and the other half on standardized daily operation and maintenance. Many devices suffer early damage not due to product defects, but rather due to improper operation and maintenance.
Before starting, it is necessary to confirm that the pump chamber is filled with medium, exhaust the internal air, and strictly prohibit dry running; Confirm the correct direction of the motor by tapping, and then start the machine officially. During the operation phase, regularly record the current and outlet pressure, monitor the bearing temperature and equipment vibration. The packing seal allows for a small amount of leakage, but if there is no leakage at all, it can easily cause the shaft sleeve to dry and burn out. After shutdown, the inside of the pump chamber should be flushed to drain the residual slurry and prevent solid material from depositing and crystallizing.
Replace lubricating oil according to the cycle and promptly check the wear of vulnerable parts such as impellers and liners. Replace vulnerable parts in a timely manner when they reach the threshold of wear and tear, avoiding minor faults from escalating into overall damage and reducing unplanned downtime.
